Kellen's Favorite Thing

Lately, Kellen's favorite thing to do in the whole wide word is to bring me letters from his letter puzzles and ask me what letter it is!  He does this ALL.DAY.LONG!!!  He is really into letters these days.  He knows /S/, /G/ and /K/.  Isn't he so cute!!!

He asks us the letter,

And then he is so happy when we tell him.

Grayson's 6 Month Appointment

Today Grayson had his 6 month dr's appointment.  He did SO well!  He is a really smiley and happy boy.  The nurse's were head over heals in love with him and his gorgeous smile!  Even though they see hundreds of patients, they were in awe.  *proud momma moment* :)  Evan stayed home with Kellen, so it was just me and my birdie bird.  Here are his stats compared to his 4 month stats:

4 Months:                                             6months:
Head: 16.75 in                                      Head: 17.5 in
Height: 26.75 in                                    Height: 28 in
Weight: 15 lbs 15oz                              Weight: 18 lbs 15 oz

He is growing SO well!  He is between the 50%-75% in all areas.  He is reaching all his milestones and doing great.  He is perfectly healthy and got an "A+", says his pediatrician. ;) He was smiling and "talking" to the nurses and his dr.  He loved watching himself in the huge mirror and tearing the exam paper off the table!  He shredded it everywhere!  The nurse laughed!  He got his shots too. As soon as the nurse gave him his first shot he started to cry SO hard.  I kept kissing him and talking to him and within 10 seconds the nurse was done.  She really does a fast job.  He cried for a few minutes and the nurse kept telling him, "sweet boy I am so sorry!  These shots hurt, but they are good for you, please don't be mad at me."  Grayson was looking at her like, "I really like you, why did you hurt me?"  Then she gave him a kiss on the head and he looked up at her and stopped crying.  As soon as she walked out the door to give me and Grayson some time to calm down, yes, I need to calm down too, he grabbed me and clung onto me like a monkey. Arms and legs wrapped tightly around me with his head in my chest. A few minutes later I dressed him and out the door we went.  Grayson, you are SO brave and even through it all, you still managed to smile at the receptionist while we checked out.  Love you birdie!
